Malaysia, 24th September 2020: World Comm Malaysia in collaboration with ASEAN PR Network held an online webinar “PR BEYOND 2020 ASEAN SERIES” with the theme “Unique Times & Tactics: Mco (Movement Control Order) & Post Mco Internal & External Communication Excellence”. This webinar was held on Thursday, 24th September 2020 through Zoom Meeting and attended by more than 150 participants from all overthe ASEAN countries.

ASEAN was one of the first regions to be affected by the MCO (Movement Control Order), with economies reeling from the shutdown in China. But ASEAN has also been one of the world’s most resilient and robust economic centres. Besides the stimulus packages and recovery strategies of the region’s governments, it also falls to the PR industry to work its magic to show corporate and government clients a revitalized way ahead. The communication must be spot on and the new ideas must be both innovative and able to be implemented.

Therefore, this webinar has pulled together communication experts from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand to share their thoughts and views on how their organisation and industries in each country planned, coped and most importantly, communicated their way out of the recent MCO.Ms. Prita Kemal Gani, MBA, MCIPR, APR – President of ASEAN PR Network, Mr. Jaffri Amin Osman – Managing Director of World Communications & Vice President of Institute PR Malaysia, Ms. PeingTajang – General Manager Corporate Comm. of Sarawak Energy Berhad, Mr. Robert Conceicao – Founder/Director Majic Communications & Past President of Institute PR Singapore, Ms. ShahreenKamaluddin – Senior Fellow of Institute PR Malaysia & Managing Director of Shahreen Corporate Communication and Dr. Nutthaboon (Chung) P. – Representative from Thailand PR Association were invited to participate in this webinar.
