ASEAN PR Network is a member of Global Alliance for PR and Communications Management
ASEAN Public Relations Network (APRN) is an organization that serves as a platform to facilitate connectivity among PR leaders, PR practitioners, PR educators, PR institutions in the region. APRN was established in June 2014 its headquarter is based in Jakarta-Indonesia. APRN has attained its global recognition when it becomes a member of the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management—the confederation of the world’s major PR and communication management associations and institutions, representing 280.000 practitioners and academics around the world.
Of which they appointed the current President of APRN Prita Kemal Gani as the Delegate-at-large and Chair of Regional Council Members for Asia-Pacific. And has launched the Global Alliance Regional Office for Asia Pacific at the ASEAN PR Network Secretariat Office in Jakarta Indonesia.
Aside from Global Alliance, ASEAN Public Relations Network (APRN) also collaborated with Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) last October 2018 at LSPR Renon Bali Campus, in Bali, Indonesia. This commitment of cooperation was signed by Prita Kemal Gani as President of APRN and Jennifer Muir as Former President PR Institute of Australia and was supported by other PR Leaders from Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippine.
This document serves as a symbol between APRN and PRIA to work together for the fulfillment of the goal to bridge the gap of Public Relations Professionals’ Competencies in the ASEAN region. This endeavor will support the ASEAN mission of developing professionals to be globally competitive in a wide range of sectors and industries. This, in turn, will enhance the job skills development of Public Relations professionals, improve their wages or salaries and productivity, and enable them employment migration opportunities anywhere in the region and globally especially in Australia.
APRN Accreditation Program
The objective of the program:
The objective of this program is to support Public Relations practitioners and communication professionals to better understand and have new perspectives on current and future communication strategies and tactics in Asian regions. The participant will have benefit from expanding their network as well as learning from reputable facilitators from different countries. The program will cover areas such as new trends of PR issues, strategic writing, stakeholder analysis, ethics and law related to the PR profession, media relations, crisis communication and many more.

Complete activities:
- Join a conference, congress, seminar or workshop that related to Public Relations.
- Present the results of the program to the Board of Examiners.
- Must write maximum 1 page summary of your experiences in any PR activities that you have done or accomplished.
- Sign a statement to comply with the APRN code of ethics
- Get the Accreditation Degree

APRN Student Membership | PR Students completed their 2nd year depending on the curriculum. A further review of the student’s curriculum is necessary to validate his/her PR Knowledge (PR subjects). |

Regular (APR) | More than 2 years to 15 years PR Experience |
Fellow (FAPR) | More than 15 years PR Experience |
Honorary (Hon. APR) | by Nomination with exemplary achievement and contribution/award in PR. |
