July 1 st 2019 – Justin Green, FPRII Life Fellow, Hon. Life Fellow APRA, Hon. Life Fellow PRSK, Hon. Life Fellow ABERJE, was chosen as the new Global Alliance President replacing the former-president José Manuel Velasco. Justin will be the President of Global Alliance for Public Relations & Communications Management 2019/21.
GA BOARD IN BRAZIL
Justin Green is the first ever Irish person to be appointed to the Board and also to become President of Global Alliance. As a new president, he and the board of directors elected at the Annual Global Meeting will commence their appointments on 1 July 2019. Jose Manuel Velasco encouraged them to actively promote the association on a global scale and create value for national members.
“Now the Global Alliance is an inclusive organization, it is in a good financial condition, it has a clear vision about the development of the PR profession, and it has renewed its portfolio for the benefit of our members”, said Jose Manuel Velasco.
Mr. Green is a Life Fellow & former President of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland. He is a Life Fellow and Global Ambassador to both the African Public Relations Association and the Public Relations Society of Kenya. He is now the President of Wide Awake Communications
