ASEAN directors, cinematographers, actors, actresses, celebrities, film students and fans will converge to be enthralled by the finest movies, entertained by first-rate artistes and educated by the most outstanding film-makers in the region.
In line with Sarawak’s high-tech evolution in this digital age, the focus for AIFFA in 2021 will be ASEAN’s exponential development towards embracing technology in the film industry, AIFFA will present a whole range of activities with the ASEAN region leading to the highlight of the celebrations where the 2023 award winners will be announced.

The objectives of AIFFA, The ASEAN International Film Festival & Awards, are to further ASEAN filmmaking by inspiring and championing the work of screenwriters, film makers and all artistes who use the language of film to tell a story. Every film could help promote culture, tradition and heritage towards a convergence of ASEAN and to Promote ASEAN films to the international market.
