LSPR Jakarta, 6th December 2016 ASEAN Autism Network invited delegates from Indonesia from Yayasan Autism Indonesia and also fromLSPR and LSBA to attend the First Myanmar Autism Games held at Yangon, Myanmar from Dec. 7-9, 2016.

The First Myanmar Autism Games was organized with the support from the Japan Foundation Asia Centre, the Asia Pacific Development Center on Disability (APCD) in collboration with The Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement of Myanmar, Myanmar Autism centre and other partners such as The Asean Autism Network. Royal Thai Embassy in Myanmar and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)

The important gathering is to empower persons with autism, their parents, suporters and stakeholders from all over Myanmar. It was also expected that the English-Tagalog-Indonesian Communication Support will play a significant role in the middle of sharing know how and friendly experiences. It has build a basis of promotion of human and cultural exchange on autism internationally among Mekong and other ASEAN Countries and Japan.

H.E. U Phyo Min Thein Prime Minister of Yangon, Myanmar and all distinguished guest from ASEAN Autism Network Delegates from Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Brunei and Vietnam grace the opening ceremony and ribbon cutting of the First Myanmar Autism Games.
