We are really excited about the upcoming ASEAN PR Regional Conference 2017 – which will take place on September 20-23, 2017 at The Trans Resort, Bali Indonesia.

As the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) commemorates the 50th Anniversary of its founding, this dynamic 10-nation regional group faces a number of new challenges and opportunities presented by the rise of communications technology, changing social, environmental and political landscapes, and the internal dynamics and commercial potential presented by the ASEAN Economic Community.

The first ASEAN Public Relations Regional Conference (APRC) will include a number of pre-conference events designed to provide important opportunities for networking and professional development. The events scheduled for 20 September 2017, include an Association Workshop presented by the Global Alliance of Public Relations and Communication Management and a Gala Dinner Awards Night. These events will provide ample opportunities for attendees to mix, meet and connect with professionals from the public relations and related industries.

Innovation is the key to success in this constantly changing world – especially in the field of Public Relations. PR professionals must be front-liners who are open to change and who embrace the opportunities presented by advances in technology.

We wish to give a special thanks to all of our friends, partners, sponsors and supporters in the PR Industry in planning for this milestone event. We have received overwhelming support to push foward with the conference and are thankful for all those who have confirmed their participation and support for APRC 2017.

As the APRC’s Conference Director Mr. Ermiel Thabrani said, “As the First Regional PR Conference in ASEAN with global exposure this is a signal to the world that ASEAN PR is ready! Participants will be coming from both corporate, academic and public sectors, particularly the communication experts who are the backbone of ASEAN such as PR experts, and communication champions. Representation of the Millennial generation is also essential as they are the ones who will be creating and regenerating the future of the industry. And as for the location, Bali, it’s self-explanatory — who would want to miss that!”
