PR Society of the Philippines successfully organized the TRANSCEND: 27th National Public Relations Congress

Philippines, 17^th-19^th February 2021: PR Society of the Philippines have successfully organized the 3-day conference which was held fully-digital and entitled “TRANSCEND: 27^th National Public Relations Congress”. The conference was held from Wednesday, 17^th February to Friday, 19^th February 2021.

The discussions during the 3-day conference centered on three core themes. The first day was a retrospect look on how the industry has been reshaped by the pandemic and what these new realities are for Philippine PR. It looked into how businesses and consumers are adapting and how the roles of communication have changed and continue to evolve in response to the new market and business landscape. The series of discussions on the second day revolved around the shift to new technologies and how this redefines the practice of PR in the new decade. On the third day, the sessions focused on issues fueling many of today’s narratives such as environmental sustainability, mental health, and equality and diversity.
