November 26, 2015 – This event was held at YPAC (YayasanPembinaanAnakCacat) located in
Jl. Hang Lekiu III/19Jakarta from 8:30 – 13:00. ASEAN Public Relations paid a visit to the event where the YPAC Jakarta’s students opened the ceremony with a welcoming dance “TariPayung”. The welcome remarks were made by Dr. MukiReksoprodjoSpOG – Chairman of the Board of Trustees of YPAC Jakarta.
The seminar speakers include Dr. Lu Jing, Minister Counsellor of the Mission of the People’s Republic of China to ASEAN, Ms. Elaine Tan, Executive Director of the ASEAN Foundation, Mrs. Maulani A. Rotinsulu, Vice Chair of the ASEAN Disability Forum and President of the Indonesian Disabled Women’s Association (HWPCI), Mr. Samsudi, Director-General of the Directorate General for Social Rehabilitation –Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, and Mr. You Liang, Deputy Director-General of the International Affairs Department of China Disabled Persons’ Federation (CDPF), Member of the United Nations Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD). There was also a guided tour of YPAC Jakarta for the VIP guests, speakers and the media. One of the highlights of the event was the talent show where the Disabled artists from CDPF, Guangxi Disabled Persons’ Federation (GDPF) and YPAC Jakarta.
