Centre for ASEAN Public Relations Studies (CAPRS), together wtih ASEAN Public Relations Network (APRN), took part in the celebration of ASEAN 49th Anniversary by creating an event “ASEAN Week” on 8 – 16 August 2016. This series consists of:

ASEAN Photo Exhibition, held from 8 to 16 August in Campus C LSPR Jakarta. In this exhibition, there are 25 photos illustrating the history and development of ASEAN in political, economy and sociocultural aspects. These photos were presented by ASEAN Partnership Directorate of Ministry of Foreign Affairs. ASEAN Photo Exhibition also an education move by CAPRS to inform the society about ASEAN and how it implements the ASEAN Community. One of the attractive photos was the opening of Alfamart –an Indonesian supermarket brand in The Philippines. This picture proves that ASEAN Community is beneficial to the members of ASEAN.

Workshop “Excellent Knowledge & Performance in ASEAN” was held on 9 August 2016 by CAPRS and APRN to be attended by Ikatan Notaris Indonesia. This workshop started from 10 AM to 5 PM and contained with the Overview of ASEAN Economic Community by Dr Tri Mardjoko, MA as the Manager of AEC Centre in Ministry of Chamber Indonesia. The second session was about media handling delivered by Aprida Sihombing, M.Si as a lecturer and Senior Corporate Reputation Department in LSPR Jakarta. Closing the workshop, Building and Maximizing Your Personal Brand material was carried on by Janette Pinariya, MM as Dean of Campus C. This workshop was aimed to enhance the knowledge of legals practitioners in Indonesia to be able to compete better in ASEAN Community challeng. In this workshop, the major higlight is the importance of self branding to boost value, quality and personality of a legal to practice in ASEAN Community and in global scale.
