5th June 2014- Jakarta Indonesia, The event of the ASEAN Public Relations Network Conference did not only end with the Inauguration it was continued with the ASEAN Public Relations Network Conference that was held last 3rd of June 2014 at LSPR Jakarta’s Prof. Djajusman Auditorium & Performance Hall, London School Public Relations, Jakarta Campus B.
The conference opened with the Speech from the Director & Founder of LSPR Jakarta, Ibu Prita Kemal Gani, MBA, MCIPR, APR and also the Chairman of Indonesia Public Relations Association. The keynote speech was presented by the ASEAN Director, I Gusti Agung Wesaka Puja, and also Dirjen Informasi dan Komunikasi Publik Drs. Freddy H.Tulung, MUA.
The first session of the event was about “Facing The Challenge Ahead of Public Relations Platform in ASEAN” the moderator was Mr. Mr. Ermiel Thabrani, senior lecturer of LSPR Jakarta. ASEAN Speakers were Mr. Nico Wattimena, PhD – Senior Lecturer of LSPR-Jakarta, Ms. K. Bhavani, Former President of Institute of PR Singapore, Dato’ Haji Ibrahim Abdul Rahman from Malaysia and Mr. Bao Nyugen Quoc, Chief Executives Officer of PR Organization International Awareness PR, Vietnam.
For the second session, the theme was “Public Relations Education and Professional Development ASEAN Perspective and Standard”, included academic speakers such as: DR. Widodo from Universitas Sebelas Maret, DR. Parichart Sthapitanonda, PhD from Department PR Chulalongkorn University Thailand, Puan Shameem Abdul Jalil, Former President IPR Malaysia and Mr. Ramon Bong Osorio, President of PR Society in the Philippines.
