Dear APRN Friends,

June 2014 marks another APRN Milestone since it was established as it celebrates its 7th Year Anniversary with 54 Associations all across ASEAN. Let me share this achievement with you, thank you for being part of the ASEAN PR Network.

The birth of APRN, as an ASEAN PR association, was necessary to assist in establishing the recruitment and training of future public relations executives. APRN continues to be the voice of PR in ASEAN, pooling of knowledge, sharing of information and generally developing public relations work through its network in ASEAN and Globally.

I always believed that the challenges we are all facing in the region and across the globe is a call to action for all of us in public relations. This new season in PR has brought in bigger changes as we face these uncertain times with the many technology upgrades, human disruptions, economic and political struggles. It is our calling and duty to educate the community and the public about our part to play and roles, to address what needs addressing in our practices, acting as a role model and leader and continuing to be agile in what we are all facing in this world for the good and benefit of us all…

Hand in hand in the ASEAN region let’s continue to stand together in the many more years to come for ASEAN PR Network. We are who we are now because of all of you. Happy 7th Anniversary to us all!
