February, 2021: Ethics and all the terms encompassed are the primary purview of public relations professionals and the work we do. It’s time we spread the word in a global, coordinated campaign to educate and inform the world about how important ethics is for the PR Communication industry. The Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communications Management will continue that leadership in 2021 with the second annual Global Ethics Month.

Last year’s inaugural campaign received an incredible response worldwide. More than 60 countries and thousands of professionals participated in the campaign, making it one of the most comprehensive engagements on world ethics the profession has ever seen. This annual campaign is led by Sarah Hanel, APR – Ethics & Standards Director of Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management. The campaign #EthicsMatter will bring attention to the importance of ethics in communication in all areas of business, government, non-profit and education and showcase all that our members are doing to educate and empower public relations professionals.

Therefore, ASEAN PR Network is supporting this campaign through our social media by continuous posting of the theme of ethics. We are also inviting all of our partners to participate in this Global Ethics Month.
