Jakarta, February 16th, 2021: ASEAN PR Network in collaboration with the LSPR Research Centre proudly present the ASEAN SPOT 9th Talk Series which will be held in conjunction for the Grand Launching of the Global Capabilities Framework – Indonesian Perspective on Tuesday, 16th February 2021 from 14.00 – 16.00 (GMT+7) through an online platform, Zoom meeting.

CREATING a global capability framework (GCF) for the public relations and communication management profession is a global project that has been undertaken in several countries. The GCF is the first and foremost Global Alliance project in partnership with the University of Huddersfield, UK, which commenced in 2016. To expand the area of study and obtain a diverse range of findings, some similar research is still in progress in several countries. The present study started in June 2019 to August 2020 with the aim to identify and map the core capabilities most needed by Indonesian PR practitioners in carrying out their profession. The study was organized and conducted by researchers from the LSPR Communication and Business Institute, Jakarta, Indonesia.

At this special event, Mrs. Prita Kemal Gani, MBA, MCIPR, APR – President of ASEAN PR Network and Prof. Anne Gregory – Research Director, Global Capabilities Project University of Huddersfield, UK will give their welcoming remarks and also invited is Rendro Dhani, PhD – Team Leader of GCF Research on Indonesia Perspective, LSPR Jakarta; Mr. Agung Laksamana – Chairman of Indonesia PR Association (PERHUMAS); and Dr. Nia Sarinastiti – Senior Lecturer at Atmaja University as the speakers at this Grand Launching.
