ASEAN Austism Games (AAG) took place on the 20-21 October 2018 in support of children with special needs. The event took place in GOR Soemantri, a football stadium, where the children took part in 50m and 100m sprints followed by a swimming race.
AAG was organized by The London School of Public Relations Jakarta to help create awareness about autism. Over 500 participants came together to take part and join in the fun and games. Other ASEAN countries such as the Philippines, Myanmar, Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia made the journey to Jakarta, Indonesia to participate and show their support.
The ASEAN Autism Games occurred after the successful end to Indonesia’s Asia Games and Asia Para Games 2018 that was broadcasted worldwide.
