Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) to the Singapore held an event called Women Conference 2017 carrying the theme “Moms Power”, on 08.30 – 2:00 pm local time, was located at the Embassy of Indonesia, 7 Chatsworth Rd, Singapore. This event presents 16 panelists women achievers, moderators and speakers not only from Indonesia and Singapore, but also from the other country.
A woman’s Conference 2017 it is an event commemorating the Kartini Day and is also celebrating 50 years of Indonesia’s diplomatic friendship and Singapore. This show is presenting the Ambassador of Indonesia to Singapore, HE Ambassador Ngurah Swajaya as the host of the event and the speaker core as follows: The wife of the Ambassador of Indonesia to Singapore, Ni Nyoman Mahaswi Astama; Founder London School of Public Relations (LSPR) – Jakarta & President ASEAN Public Relations Network (APRN), Prita Kemal Gani; President Singapore Council of Women’s Organization (SCWO), Dr June Goh; President Singapore Council of Women’s Organization (SCWO), Dr June Goh; Ambassador of Finland to Singapore, HE Paula Parviainen; and Canada’s Ambassador to Singapore, H.E Lynn McDonald.

“It is my pride to be here with the women from various countries in this event, especially the figure of Kartini women heroes Indonesia is highly inspiring my life” said Prita Kemal Gani.
Women’s Conference 2017 times has three core events session collaborated, which is session sharing success and inspiration concerning the exposure of how important collaboration and rise as a force together to inspire and empower each other.
In addition to sharing session of inspirational women, the event was also attended by a variety of entertainment such as performances of angklung from kids incorporated in SIS, Performing arts of Indonesia Diplomat’s wife in Singapore such as Line Dance with the strains of the song Bengawan Solo, as well as the activities of the bazaar and auction. There were also fashion show and learning sessions use a cloth glove which was performed by the Singapore Embassy in the Union of women’s Work
