Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Mrs. Prita Kemal Gani the President of ASEAN Public Relations Network and also Founder and Director of the London School of Public Relations – Jakarta is the Indonesia National recipient for ASEAN Peoples’ Award 2015. It was presented by The HonourableDato’ Sri Mohd NajibTun Abdul Razak, Prime Minister of Malaysia and Chariman of ASEAN.
The establishment of the Award is to honors ASEAN Member States’ citizens and/or organizations who have made outstanding contributions towards the creation of a united, prosperous and caring ASEAN Community.
The Award was given to her for her contribution through ASEAN Public Relations Network and Centre of ASEAN Public Relations Studies at the London School of Public Relations Jakarta.
LSPR Center for ASEAN Public Relations Studies is a research centre, created to conduct research on ASEAN studies, in terms of politics, education, economics, culture etc. Mrs. Prita is also committed to standardize and raise the level of Public Relations in Indonesia in regards to the ASEAN community that encouraged her to implement some changes in the curriculum at LSPR, for LSPR student to know more about ASEAN through the establishment of LSPR Center for ASEAN Public Relations Studies.
Currently, Mrs. Prita also serves at the Global Alliance (GA) for Public Relations and Communications Management as the Regional Delegate-at-Large (Asia) and is responsible for the development of Global Alliance and service to associations.
