Dear APRN Members & Friends,

Greetings of Peace and Good Health to Everyone!

At this point in time, many of us feel that the challenges are getting harder than any endurance race. In the end, our victory will be counted by our commitment to live in a new way with COVID-19 around us. And as the pandemic impacts us all for an extended period of time, most of us will be and have been drained physically, mentally, economically and socially.

This uncertainty demands us to adapt our behaviour in ways that we couldn’t have imagined we would have to do in this lifetime. But yet, resilient as we are in the ASEAN Region most of us, when we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves and continue to stand afloat in the midst of these uncertain times. Often times we choose our challenges but this time challenges chose us, what we decide to do next is what counts and will help us in the end. It is our daily decisions and actions that will keep our wellbeing!

And as of now, it is important to recognize and be grateful for what we have, stay connected to those we love and care for and lend a helping hand to those who need it.

Let us be mindful of our mental health and wellbeing so we can be mindful on how we can help others as well.

Best regards,
