Discussions with The President of Institute of Public Relations Singapore (IPRS)

January 18, 2016 – The President of ASEAN Public Relations Network Mrs. Prita Kemal Ganipaid a visit to Singapore for a meeting with Mr. Robert Conceicao, The President of Institute of Public Relations Singapore.

This courtesy visit and informal meeting between two PR Associations is to discuss future collaborations,strengthen the relationship among PR associations in ASEAN countries especially Indonesia and Singapore through public seminar, workshop, conference and many other activities.Institute of Public Relations Singapore is planning to hold a public seminar in April and APRN will also invite state owned companies from Indonesia to join the seminar in Singapore.

All the PR leaders in ASEAN countries are planning to organize another meeting in Singapore in April 2016 to discuss about setting the PR standard in ASEAN,namely the APRN Competency Framework. With the era of ASEAN Economic Community, standardization of PR profession is necessary to create qualified PR practitioners and educators among ASEAN countries.
