27th of August 2018 –ASEAN celebrated its 51st anniversary last August 8, 2018 at the ASEAN Secretariat here in Jakarta Indonesia. The celebration is to mark its milestone achievements for the past 51 years.
ASEAN Secretary-General Dato Lim Jock Hoi gave the opening remarks to start the celebration. He did mentioned that “ASEAN Day is about celebrating solidarity across borders.” He also announced the latest development of the new ASEAN Secretariat building that will be in completion and will be moving in the middle of 2019.
We are also proud that London School Cares for Autism Awareness children took part in this celebration and had to perform the second time around at the stage of ASEAN. Indeed we are very proud to take part in Celebrating ASEAN Day.
We do believe that we at APRN can align our vision and mission as ASEAN continues to work towards strengthening regional resilience, deepening economic integration, increasing connectivity, enhancing human capital, investing in the region’s youth, and engaging and collaborating with more external partners as we see the growth in the coming years.
